“Gnasher” was originally created with my personal dentist’s office in mind. The tooth is the only part of the body that can’t heal itself. The enamel on the surface of your tooth is the hardest substance of your body. The multiple layers of the tooth are represented in the piece. Without teeth, we can’t smile - so I hope this art makes you smile.
The original “Gnasher” is 11” x 14” and was made over one day and 9 hours in August 2018 when I was a third-year Internal Medicine resident.
