Chopped Liver (Color)

from $140.00

“Chopped Liver” is a unique presentation of the liver. The liver is the largest glandular organ of the human body and detoxifies, regenerates, and functions in over 200 ways to benefit our body. Inspired and commissioned by an interventional radiologist, this piece breaks down the liver anatomically for identification of the segments and vasculature. The anatomy is useful for the transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS) procedure.

The original “Chopped Liver” is 18” x 24” and was made over three days and 20 hours in May 2018 when I was a second-year Internal Medicine resident.
